Besides being a popular destination for outdoorsmen, they also tell a historic story - there are Yugoslav bunkers built in the 30s of the last century to defend the then borders.
The Vela Draga Canyon is located within the Učka Nature Park and is recognizable by its naturally formed limestone towers. This is a unique location, one of the most beautiful in Croatia, and since 1998 it has been protected as a geomorphological natural monument.
